Today, we made major updates to the JWBrowserAddons website, including the Web Tools web app.
GREAT NEW DESIGN
The web app underwent some design changes to make it feel simple and more modern than ever before.
· All content’s width decreased to make a path for the menu to move along (don’t worry, the width wasn’t decreased too much)
· Header height reduced and frozen to the screen, along with a reduced login bar, some text, and a Get the Extension button that links to the Web Tools extension installer
· The body text at the top of the app has been removed because it’s not necessary
· New typeface (Metropolis Bold for headings and titles, Inter Regular for body text, various fonts used in embedded components)
NEW AND REDESIGNED COMPONENTS
New tools were added to the web app to make a better user experience. The new components include:
Word Counter
Combination Calculator
Random Number Generator
Basic Calculator
Translator, powered by Google Translate (we are working out the issue with this component)
The Password Generator component was redesigned to match the design of JWBrowserAddons, including typeface and color.
